Had to balance the tripod on some rocks for this one but I managed to keep it steady for the 13 seconds needed. I perhaps could have used a smaller aperture and got the rocks in the foreground slightly sharper, but conditions were changing fast and I'm not sure the tripod wouldn't have moved if I'd risked anything longer. Unfortunately a photo cannot convey the crackling sound of the tide going out, passing over the small pebbles at the waters edge. Very eerie, especially when there is nobody else around...
